"Rüdiger Fuhrmann has made a significant contribution to making NORD/LB one of Germany's leading agricultural banks today. He has profound expertise and knows the needs of our customers. The excellent market position we have today in agricultural banking is largely due to his achievements. We regret that he will be leaving us and wish him all the best for his time after NORD/LB," said Günter Tallner, NORD/LB Board Member for Corporate Customers.

NORD/LB's Agricultural Banking will in future be managed by Olaf Oertzen and Christoph Wortmann. Both have already been part of the management team of NORD/LB's Agricultural Banking division for many years. They will continue the joint management with the previous regional responsibilities.

NORD/LB will remain the specialist bank for the agricultural sector in Germany under the new management. In future it will continue to provide specialist agricultural know-how and a range of products tailored to the needs of its agricultural customers. In addition to traditional corporate financing consisting of investment loans and credit lines for working capital, this also includes acquisition financing for agricultural businesses and payment transactions.
