Kathrin Rauschnabel has worked as a lawyer for banks in New York since 2004. She has already worked for NORD/LB in this capacity from 2017 to January 2021 and has demonstrated her high level of problem-solving expertise. Prior to that, she worked in New York for 13 years at Unicredit Bank, including as head of the legal department there. Kathrin Rauschnabel grew up in Berlin and studied law in Münster, Würzburg and New York.

The branch office in New York is of central importance for NORD/LB's business activities in North America. Among other things, customers from the special finance segment are served in New York. This includes supporting energy and infrastructure customers as well as aircraft customers in their financing projects. Around 70 people work for NORD/LB at the branch.
