11/24/2022 NORD/LB finances LNG project in Stade

NORD/LB Norddeutsche Landesbank, together with the federal government and the state of Lower Saxony, is financing the construction of the infrastructure for a terminal for liquefied natural gas (LNG) in Stade, Lower Saxony. The floating storage and regasification units (FSRU) will convert liquefied natural gas from mooring tankers into gas that can then be fed into pipelines.

Kathrin Rauschnabel is the new General Manager of the NORD/LB branch in New York. The 53-year-old lawyer comes from DZ Bank, where she most recently headed the legal department in New York. She succeeds Raimund Ferley, who will retire at the end of the year.

NORD/LB Norddeutsche Landesbank has financed another wind farm in Finland. The Pajuperänkangas wind farm is located near the municipality of Haapajärvi in the province of North Ostrobothnia. The project is being realised in cooperation with ABO Wind AG.
